Mikko Plastics Industries Ltd was founded in 1980 as a Private Enterprise. With almost three decades of rich experience in the field of packaging and lamination film, the Company now has been benchmarking on satisfying its customers to the optimum. Mikko is operating with approximately 250 workers of Nigeria indigenes, and five expatriates. The production capacity of the Company as of today is 800 metric tones per month.

The dynamic Chairman and Chief Executive of Mikko, Mr. Chief Mike C. Nkwoji is a well known business personality. He has an expertise in administration. Mr. Mike has to his record, numerous awards conferred upon him by domestic and international business fraternity. He takes active interest in Golf and is quite proficient to win himself many trophies. Mr. Chief Mike has helped rehabilitation of many families in Nigeria and abroad and has a strong sense of social responsibility.

Mikko is characterised by a pool of highly skilled technocrats and managers. Mr. Mangesh, dynamic General Manager of Indian nationality, vigorously handles marketing activity. Mr. Engnr. Konweh Leoma, a technocrat with vast plastic industry experience looks after the production. Mr. Johnson Ukah, is Chief Finance Officer of the Company. He has a rich experience of finance/management in both public and private sectors of the economy. Mr. Williams Okwunna a Senior Sales Manager has been an asset for the Company well over 25 years. Mr. Reginald Nwaobasi is Operations Manager of the Company.

Mikko has installed 2 nos. of KET's high output Three Layer Blown Film plants. By the end of 2008 Mikko will be installing another IBC three layer blown film plant from KET, which will be the first and largest in Nigeria .
